Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been removed from Chelsea UEFA Champions League squad. Aubameyang has just 1 goal with no assist in 11 matches for Chelsea this season in the premier league and 2 goals with no assist in the UEFA champions league.

The London side English Premier league club removed the striker in order to add their record-breaking new signings such as João Félix, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez to their champions league squad. With this development, Aubameyang will not be part of the pride of London when the UEFA champions league returns on 14th February.

The English club which was champions of Europe in 2021 have been struggling recently in their domestic league where they currently sit in the 10th position.
Our sources also reported that Benoit Badiashile is also not listed on Chelsea’s UEFA champions league squad after joining in a £35m deal last month.

This latest development has sparked reactions online where the striker’s fans said he shouldn’t have left Arsenal where he scored at least 10 goals with many assists every season while some were of the opinion that number 9 at Chelsea could be a curse.
