“We’re coming to collect our rights and money in your houses.
“We will use all our power and all our strength to fight the vigilantes because of all their wicked acts and how they have stopped us all these years.
“We are armed robbers and we will show you this month. Be prepared.”

These are the words of some self-acclaimed armed robbers threatening to strike at Ido, in Oyo State.
They are specifically threatening residents of Ifelagba Community, who now live in panic.
As if it is a replay of the story in a novel by the late legend, Adebayo Faleti, titled Ogun Awitele, the robbers sent the letter said to be written in Yoruba.
The Oyo State Government and the state police command have yet to react to the development.
